Water puppetry
This kind of traditional entertainment has come from 11th century. Puppets are controlled by puppeteers and perform a play or a story on the surface of water.
Cai Luong - traditional tunes
“Cai Luong” can be roughly translated as “renovated theater” in English. This is a kind of modern folk opera in Vietnam. “Cai luong” is also a combination of various types of traditional music such as southern Vietnamese folk song, classical music and modern spoken drama.

Ao ba ba - casual wear in South Vietnam
"Ao ba ba" simply consists of a pair of silk pants and a long sleeved shirt. The shirt is long and split at the sides of waist. It usually has a button line and two pockets at the bottom.

The traditional four-panel dress
The four-panel dress, kerchief and flat palm hat with fringes (quai thao hat) creating the gracefulness of Kinh Bac’s women has long been one of Vietnamese traditional costumes. So far, the origin of the four-panel (ao tu than) has not been known yet, however, the carved image of Vietnam’s dress with two flatting laps was found on the face of Ngoc Lu bronze drum thousands of years ago.

Traditional costumes of the Vietnamese people tend to be very simple and modest. Men wear brown shirts and white trousers. Their headgear is simply a piece of cloth wrapped around the head and their footwear consists of a pair of plain sandals.
