Located in the heart of Nha Trang City, Dam Market is not only the main Trade Centre with various merchandises ich was originally a 7 hectare pond before the market was built around 1908. Be damaged by war, it was reconstructed after the Vietnam War into the 5,270 m² market that can hold up to 3,000 people at a time.

This circular three-story building consists of many local souvenir shops in the front and middle area as well as fresh meat and fish stalls at the back. To the right of the market is where the dry sea food, the typical and well-known products, is sold. Once entering this area, visitors will be absorbed in the tidy and eye-catching arrangement of different kinds of dried fish, cuttle-fish, shrimp, seaweed and so on. Coming alive in the early morning at about 4 am each day, this vibrant market is an interesting place to wander and explore the daily life of Nha Trang inhabitants.
