In preparation for the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Ha Noi, the city authority has started a renovation campaign to beautify the city's look. However, construction site would make tourists feel annoyed.

The walking path along side Hoan Kiem lake is being renovated. With no doubt, the walking path, after completed, will bring people more relax and comfortability when they wander around the lake. At the moment, the current construction site takes all walking space. Tourists and locals find it difficult to pass by the site.

The renovation is set to be finish in a few months, before the anniversary takes place in 2010 October. Tourists should expect some annoyment when have a walk near Hoan Kiem lake or in the Old Quarter
