This museum is located in the heart of the city, was built in 1915 under the sponsorship of the French Institue of Oriental Studies (EFEO). This is the only place where the unique sculptural works of Champa Kingdom which were collected in decades through various areas covering the whole central part of Vietnam nowadays have been shown since the Museum was founded (1915).
This Museum was built in accordance with Cham architectural type, of 12 rooms, in which 10 used for show rooms, and each of them named a region of which the things were actually found. In the middle part of the Museum, they present the religious and artistic activities of Cham in Simhapura Capital (now is Tra Kieu). There is a souvenir shop where you can choose the stone item imitated the sculptural works of the Champa art.
