Da Lat is a famous tourist attraction nationwide for its poetic scenery, ideal weather and beautiful flower festivals. It welcomes a large number of visitors within and out of Viet Nam every year. There are several ways to pay a visit to this well known city.

By motorbike:

This is the most mobile and comfortable means of transportation to pay a visit to Da Lat as tourists can enjoy beautiful sceneries on the way to the city.

Ho Chi Minh city is 306km from Da Lat. Departing from HCMC, visitors can follow National Road 1A till reaching Dau Giay Fork, then following National Road 20 to reach Da Lat.

From central provinces in Viet Nam, travelers can go to Phan Rang city which is at around 120km from Da Lat, following the National Road 11 to reach Ngoan Muc pass, then going along the Dran pass to Trai Mat to visit Da Lat.

By bus & coach:

From Ho Chi Minh city:

It takes about 7 or 8 hours to get to Da Lat by coaches. There is a coach departing every one hour at Mien Dong coach station. Mai Linh transport is recommended.

Tourists can also use high quality coach services operated by some well-known agencies such as Phuong Trang, Sinh Cafe, Hanh Cafe... These agencies' offices are located at Pham Ngu Lao street and De Tham street, dist 1. This area is popular among travellers as the backpacker's district of Ho Chi Minh city.

From Nha Trang: A bus ride will take ~5 hour to reach Da Lat.  Please edit if you have more information on this

By airplane:

There are daily flights from HCMC and Ha Noi to Da Lat. The Da Lat airport is around 30 km south of the city.
